Support us
Building hope together.
There's more than one way to build hope, and you can help make a difference.
Whether you want to give directly, run your own fundraiser, or partner with us as a business, your support helps more New Zealanders with neurological conditions get outdoors, find community, and build a life of hope.
Fundraise for us
Fundraising is an amazing way to support Mastering Mountains and engage your community — and it doesn't have to be complicated.
Whether it's a birthday fundraiser instead of gifts, a workplace giving campaign, or your own outdoor challenge, your support will make a direct impact on the lives of people affected by neurological disabilities, positively impacting not just the individual, but their families and the wider community around them.
Some ideas from our community:
Take on a challenge. Turn your own hike, ride, run, or swim into a fundraiser — many of our programme participants do exactly this to help support future programme participants, and you can do the same.
Celebrate for a cause. Ask for donations to Mastering Mountains instead of gifts for your birthday, wedding, or another milestone.
Rally your workplace. Organise a workplace giving campaign, morning tea, or team challenge.
Make it your own. Have a different idea? We'd love to hear it — the best fundraisers are usually the ones that mean something to you.
If you'd like to set up a fundraiser, or just want to talk through ideas, get in touch — we're happy to help however we can, including sharing your fundraiser with our community.
Partner with us
Mastering Mountains is proud to work alongside businesses, organisations, and funders who share our belief that a neurological diagnosis shouldn't mean the end of an adventurous life.
Our partners help fund our programmes, provide in-kind support, and stand alongside us as we advocate for a more inclusive outdoors.
If your business is interested in partnering with Mastering Mountains — whether through sponsorship, in-kind support, or a longer-term partnership — we'd love to talk. We tailor every partnership to fit what matters most to your organisation, while helping us reach more New Zealanders who need our support.
We are also proud of our association with Multiple Sclerosis New Zealand.
